How does the script you bought reach you?
After a payment is approved on FKStud.io we do not email you a file — the licence is assigned straight to your CFX account. This post walks through every link in that chain.
When you add a script to the cart and go to checkout, three separate systems get involved behind the scenes: the store (FKStud.io), the payment provider (Tebex) and the licensing layer (Cfx.re). Knowing which step does what also tells you where to look when something goes wrong.
The cart is built in your browser
Nothing is written to our servers while you build a cart; items live in your browser's own storage. The Tebex basket is created at the moment you hit checkout. That has one practical benefit: the tax rate is calculated for the country your connection comes from, not the country our server sits in.
CFX sign-in at checkout
For FiveM and RedM products the Tebex checkout asks you to sign in with your CFX account. The reason is simple: the licence binds to an account, not to a file. That is also why there is no separate signup form on this site — your identity is verified on the CFX side.
Payment approval and licence assignment
Payment completes on Tebex; your card details never reach FKStud.io servers at any point. The moment the approval lands, Tebex notifies us and the licence is assigned to the CFX account that paid.
Downloading the files from Cfx.re Portal
- Sign in to portal.cfx.re with your CFX account.
- Find the product you purchased under Assets › Granted Assets.
- Download the file and extract it into your server's resources folder.
- Add the resource to server.cfg and restart the server.
Tebex also emails you the payment receipt. The transaction number on that receipt is the fastest thing to quote in a support request.
